Will this fit my Rivian R1T or R1S?
This fits Rivian R1T and R1S Gen 1 models (2022–2024) equipped with the factory camp speaker in the center console. It does not fit Gen 2 — the Gen 2 console has a different layout without the camp speaker slot.
Will the drawer lock like the factory speaker?
No — and that's actually the advantage. The factory camp speaker was electronically locked by the vehicle. This drawer has no electronic interface, so it's always accessible regardless of vehicle state, lock status, or software. Open and close it anytime.
Do I need tools to install it?
No tools required. The drawer is a single-piece drop-in replacement. Remove the factory speaker (lifts straight out), slide in the OverSpec drawer. Under 60 seconds, start to finish.
Will it warp in summer heat?
No. High-Temp ABS is rated to 212°F (100°C). The console area of a parked vehicle can reach 140–160°F in direct sun — well within this material's operating range. The same ABS we use in the console organizer system.
What can I store in it?
The drawer is sized to the factory speaker slot — it's a compact but usable depth. Works well for wallet, cards, keys, sunglasses, charging cables, a small multi-tool, or anything you want within arm's reach. We'll add exact internal dimensions to this page once finalized.
Can I use this alongside the OverSpec Console System?
Yes — they install in completely separate locations. The speaker drawer goes in the camp speaker slot; the console organizer goes in the main center console trough. They're designed to work together and complete the same interior build.
